The apartment has many of the original Victorian features including high ceilings giving an open and airy atmosphere. The living room has a comfortable sofa suite, a large screen TV with Freeview channels & Netflix. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials and has a breakfast bar with six bar stools. The three bedrooms all have comfortable double beds and the linen is changed after every visit. Fresh towels in the shower room with additional towels available. A hair dryer, iron and ironing board are available. There's fibre optic wifi throughout the place with average download speeds of 250MB with wifi boosters. The flat has it's own private entrance, a stairway leading upto the whole apartment. The 1st floor has the roof terrace with a balcony and as it's south west facing you will enjoy sunshine from midday onwards. The terrace area also overlooks the pleasant high street, there is patio furniture and is a great place to relax, enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. Smoking is allowed on the terrace. Wellfield Road is a renowned area in the City. On the doorstep there's numerous restaurants, takeaways, coffee shops, cafe/bars and retail establishments on this mini high street. Roath Park with its pleasant gardens, boating lake, open play & picnic areas is only a short walk away. The City Centre is about a mile away with plenty of regular buses going in and out of the city. Principality stadium is 1.5 miles away. There's on street parking but can be quite busy. Parking is available at Penylan Community Centre CF23 5HW with free parking for two hours (obtain a ticket from the dispenser & display). Free parking from 5pm till 9am so free parking from 3pm daily and free Sunday. We like to meet & greet and can sometimes reserve a parking space so let us know arrival but if we can't meet the keys will be in the keybox.

Quaint local high street with amenities and eateries with traditional pubs to cocktail bars restaurants from traditional Welsh to Greek to Indian to Turkish to Italian to Thai. Plus numerous shops and boutiques on this semi pedestrianised high street. Tesco Express just a few yards away, Greggs and numerous coffee shops. Everything you would need for a short stay is on your doorstep. Only 1 mile from the city centre with plenty of taxis and buses available. Principality stadium just over a mile and half away. Cardiff Bay; one of Europe’s Largest Waterfront Developments is also just a short taxi ride away. Mermaid Quay is the shopping and leisure district there with restaurants, bars, shops and there also access to boat hire. The Millenuim Centre is here which has all year round amazing theatre shows but gets booked very quickly. During the summer Roald Dhal Plaza is coverted into a manmade beach with a funfair, sand, pools, barbecues, live music etc.
