Set in 17 acres of beautiful gardens, Llangoed Hall offers luxurious accommodation with free onsite parking and free Wi-Fi. Dating from 1632, Llangoed Hall is in the picturesque Wye Valley and 12 miles from the popular market town of Brecon. Each spacious room features a flat-screen TV and are individually decorated and furnished. Many rooms have stunning Black Mountain views and an inclusive full Welsh breakfast is provided. The 2 AA Rosette restaurant at Llangoed Hall offers a superb menu, with locally sourced produce, including fruit and vegetables from the hotel’s own organic gardens. The dinner, bed and breakfast rates include a three-course choice menu. The small market town of Hay-on-Wye is a 20-minute drive, and features many local bookshops.

Formerly owned by Sir Bernard Ashley, husband of the world-renowned fabric designer Laura Ashley, Llangoed Hall’s elegant interiors are inhabited by a truly inspiring collection of original art. These include Sir Bernard’s personal collection of sketches by the American-born artist and society wit, James McNeil Whistler. Indeed, the collection, which also includes works by Herman Dudley Murphy and Augustus John, is representative of the ‘country house era’ and perfectly complements the experience.

Please note that children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the hotel restaurant in the evening – we do not offer a children’s menu and children will need to dine from the full restaurant menu.
