Amazing villas in Crete are situated in a traditional village called Asteri, ideal for long walks in nature, close to the famous Monastery Arkadi and nearby the beach (only 3 km). In the village there is also a folklore museum that presents the history of a Cretan house with all the items that were used at that period of time. In the village there are also places to taste really good cretan food and what we call "mezes" (something like finger food). Additionally, there is a mini market for the essentials someone may need.
