Sunset is nestled amongst traditional buildings and newly built. It is a 5 minute walk to the village square of Sivas, where you can sit and enjoy your coffee in the traditional coffee shop "Kafenion". In the village you find 2 mini markets, 1 butcher shop, 5 restaurants, 3 coffee shops, a ceramic shop and a gift shop. Behind the village square "Platia" is the church of Sivas and the primary school. Parking facility is available on the property. We recommend you have a rental car to get around as public transport is not available in Sivas. Sivas is the ideal base for excursions. The archaeological sites of Gortys and Phaistos are only a 10 minutes drive by car. The beaches of Matala (10mins), Komos (5mins.) and Kalamaki (10mins). You can also hike down the Agiofarago Gorge or visit the palm tree forest in Martsalos. Kali Limenes and the Monastery Odigitria are all about a half hour trip.
