Self contained two bedroom flat situated on a quiet, hilly rural plot in central Corfu. The flat is airy, unpretentious ground floor with a balcony and a courtyard offering spectacular views and cool options throughout the day. The flat offers basic amenities. There is air conditioning and fans for each room. The kitchen is equipped with stovetop, kettle, coffee and tea making units and all the necessary pots, pans, cutlery, etc. The large plot offers communal spaces for the guests to enjoy the views and the surrounding nature. Access is by private road and there is free parking onsite. A vehicle is recommended to access the site although technically you can use public transport and your feet. The water is from a well so currently you need to buy water for drinking and cooking.

Marilena and Grigoris live on the site with their young family. They are both professionals who rent part of their property to short term and long term tenants. They like sharing the beauty of their plot and their organic vegetables ( when they turn up) with their guests. They moved recently to Greece from London and are renovating the site gradually with care for the environment. Where possible natural construction materials and paints are used. Solar energy is used for hot water and solar lights are used in the gardens where possible.

Kokkini Peach House is an all year destination situated in a beautiful hill side surrounded by nature yet it is only a fifteen-twenty minutes drive to the historic and cosmopolitan Corfu Town, the airport, port and the bus station. Nearby beaches, fifteen to thirty minutes by car, include amongst other the famous Glyfada beach, Hermones, Myrtiotissa (nudist beach), Palaiokastritsa. Ipsos and the Corfu Riviera are 30' drive away. There is a super market at the foot of the hill, ten minute walk from the house. The nearby village of Agios Ioannis has a few shops and restaurants including traditional greek food restaurant, burger house, pizza, souvlaki, patisserie, coffee shops. The Aqualand resort is also nearby offering water rides, swimming pools, shops and restaurants for all the family. Most shops in Agios Ioannis will deliver take away food orders to Kokkini Peach House. North Corfu can be reached within forty to fifty minutes by car and offers many options for a daily excursion. Similarly South Corfu with exceptional natural beaches and Nature reserves can be reached within an hour. Outside the busy summer months (July-August) visitors at Kokkini Peach House can enjoy walks in Nature, empty beaches and a less crowded Corfu Town. It is possible to leave on foot from our property and walk to nearby beaches or nature or drive for a short time and then walk. Autumn is usually pretty warm and swimming till end of October is fine as the weather and the sea remain warm. The winter weather is mild with plenty of sunshine and occasional much needed rain. Corfu town is a lively historical and sophisticated town that welcomes visitors throughout the year.
