Toba-∆-Scape is a lake-front ∆-frame style house, located right on the biggest volcanic lake in the world - Lake Toba, North Sumatera Indonesia. The house is part of Pondok Ganda, a 10-room style accomodation located in the same area. You can venture our spacious ground and enjoy the breath-taking scenery along the 120m lake-side walk. The house comes with full amenities, just like what you wish for your own house. The outdoor ground with the stunning Sopo is something that you won't miss out.
Toba-∆-Scape has 3 bedrooms (@ 180*200 cm bed) and 2 sofa beds that can accomodate up to 8 (eight) people. The main bedroom is located upstairs, and the other two bedrooms are located downstairs - on the same floor with living room, kitchen, laundry and bathroom.
If you need extra bed, we only allow additional maximum of 2 chargeable extra bed at IDR 150,000 (per extra bed, per night, per person), and it is payable via QRIS during check-in (payment is for the entire duration). This means total number of people is maximum 10 (ten) including children. Any extra people will NOT be allowed staying in the property.
Camping, tent, and sleeping bags are not allowed in any part of the property and entire ground of Pondok Ganda estate (including sleeping in guest's own vehicle).
The front exterior of Toba-∆-Scape is purposedly designed with clear glass door and windows, to make sure that you are fully entertained with non-obstructive view of the lake, which is best enjoyed during sunrise and sunset. Due to the glass material, the house interior can feel hot during sunny day. You can turn on the Air Conditioning upstairs and let the air flowing down to keep it cool inside the house.
Likewise a house, Toba-∆-Scape has basic necessities for a comfortable stay. Please note however, that Toba-∆-Scape does not provide breakfast, because it is a self-catering accomodation. But if you do need breakfast, please speak to one of our staffs in Pondok Ganda (Tina/Esra/Dini).
Hi there! We are a couple (Indonesian & British) living alternately between UK and Indonesia. When we are in Indonesia, we stay in Toba-∆-Scape, an ∆-frame style house that sits by Lake Toba, in a tiny village called Tuktuk-Samosir Island, North Sumatra Indonesia. We host Toba-∆-Scape for guests, and we also co-host another family-style accommodation namely Pondok Ganda (it has 10 rooms occupancy), which is located at the same lot as Toba-∆-Scape
Toba-∆-Scape is located right behind Marianna hotel, but we have our own access which is directly off from Tuktuk main road and marked with clear signage. There is "Citra" convenience shop that is very close from the property that sells a lot of things (including alcohol), which is only 5 minutes walking distance (it is located on the main village road). There are also a lot of restaurants in Tuktuk village, with the nearest one also 5 minutes walking distance. If you are up for a further walk, then a 15-25 minutes walk around the village will get you to plenty of choices.
