Anaaya Riverside Nest is a private homestay in a village like locality where guests can enjoy peace and tranquility. It is a traditional Kerala Home with all modern facilities in 50 cents of farm surrounded by rivers . It is six kilometers away from Kumarakom which is a famous tourist spot. Also it is 6.5 kilometers from Kottayam city. The home is walkable distance from the famous Sree Krishna Temple recognized as the first temple in India to open for the day, with its doors opening at 2:30 am after a 2:00 am ritual. This practice is attributed to the belief that Lord Krishna cannot tolerate hunger .The idol of Lord Krishna is four-armed , in the fierce form he took after killing Kamsa, with tensed muscles and eyes holding intensity. The idol is believed to be unique because it is said to become thinner if not fed on time. The temple also remains open during solar and lunar eclipses. There are many other temples in Thiruvarppu. The home is also one and half kilometers from Malarikkal tourist spot which turn "Lake of Lilies" August and October. Guests can easily reach Kumarakom by country boat or road. Can enjoy fishing ,rowing and village life.

The home is well connected with roads and the neighborhood is totally safe any time. There are a few houses close by though ,this property is having compound walls and a secure gate. The property has rivers on two sides and you can enjoy fishing or boating on country boats. Guests can also visit the nearby vast Kuttanad paddy land, known as the "Rice Bowl of Kerala, "which is is a unique delta region in Kerala where rice is cultivated below sea level. This is indeed a geographical marvel. The temples close by are very enriching spiritually .There is a mosque and a Christian church both visible from the home. The farm around the home is lush green with different types of trees and yield fruits during season. One can enjoy real village life without sacrificing any luxury.
