Casa Jorge consists of 3 bedrooms (3 double beds) with en suite bathrooms and balcony or terrace or both. It is suitable for MAX. 6 guests. Living room has 3 places for home office. Situated in complex Marshall Retreat with beautiful garden and swimming pool. The distance to the beach is 15 minutes walking, shops as well. Decorated by various objects of arts – paintings, collection of musical instruments etc. Some paintings are selfexplanatory: women resting under palms, Indian couple in love, blossoming flower, bouquet of lilies, beach impressions of people from the period before the war, prints from the Czech capital Prague. But there are also two paintings which maybe need some explanation. A big painting in the living room by German artist Christoph Freitag was exhibited for some time in the Museum of Modern Art in Duesseldorf, Germany. The topic is a comparison of German and British culture on the example of two outstanding novelists. For German side, Guenter Grass with his novel The Tin Drum (the boy whose head is collated in the picture is drummer), for the British side, James Joyce´s Ulysses. There is a telephone box, a doubledecker, Gothic cathedral in Koeln.

We are a couple who had been living and working in Nashik, India for more than 15 years. We are both passionate travelers and are happy when our guests like their stay in Casa Jorge, which used to be our second home. We do not have facility for accepting the debit/credit cards (it is the only villa which we are renting) and therefore we require payment in advance to our account before we make the booking binding. We hope our guests will understand, and mostly they do.

There are many options within easy reach by car for every taste, when you had enough of swimming in the sea and long beach walks: excursions to Spice Garden, Bird Watching, Waterfalls, Crocodile Farm, Fishing trip, colonial architecture (Velha Goa churches, old Portuguese mansions in Chandor), Anjuna Market, temples etc.
