Helgafell is a historic farm, 7km from the popular town Stykkishólmur. On the farm Helgafell is a small mountain, called the holy mountain and the view from the top is beautiful in every direction. At the top you also find an old chapel where you can make three wishes. The cabins was ready 01.08.17 and are located by the Helgafell lake with a beautiful birdlife all around, they are 27 square and will have good conditions, comfortable bed and full equipped kitchen.

My name is Lára and I was born in Stykkishólmur. I moved to Helgafell at 2007 Helgafell. My husband has lived at Helgafell all his life just like his father, Helgafell has been en they're family since 1880. We have six kids, two girls and four boys they are 19, 18, 15, 11, 8 and 4 years old.

At our farm are 270 sheep, five horses and three dogs. Helgafell is only 7 km away from the populated town Stykkishólmur where it is possible to visit museums, there is a nice swimming pool, great restaurants, you can go in tours on sea and there is a supermarket. Bjarnahöfn is only 20km away where is also a museum and you can try they're famous shark. Many good hikes are here in Helgafell and all around. Kirkjufell is inly 25 minutes drive from Helgafell.
