This bright and welcoming 75 sqm apartment is located on the second floor (26 steps, no elevator) of a charming 16th-century building, full of history and character. As the building was originally intended as modest housing, the staircase is somewhat narrow—but not steep, so still manageable; that said, the stairs may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. The apartment has been carefully renovated, respecting the original layout and preserving the beautiful traditional Genoese terrazzo floors and the entrance door. The latter is 90 cm wide, has two panels and the second one can be opened if necessary. Two bedrooms are available; the larger one faces to via Balbi, which is crossed only by public traffic whose noise is not noticeable with the windows closed, in any case earplugs are provided. The second bedroom overlooks a small silent square. The interior blends elegance and personality, featuring many original vintage pieces of Italian design that give the space a unique and authentic atmosphere. Perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers looking to experience Genoa from a central and historic location. You’ll be just a short walk from the city’s main attractions: museums, the university, the train station, the metro, and a wide selection of restaurants.
