Our advice on the best neighborhood to stay in Rome? The Prati neighborhood. Today Prati has a worldly and elegant atmosphere, among art nouveau houses, Umbertine palaces and trendy shops. Here the large spaces and elegant buildings give a cosmopolitan and international feel, made even more interesting by trendy shops and many cafes and restaurants. But to better understand the city spirit of Prati you just have to walk along via Cola di Rienzo, the street of the stracchino in Rome Prati, full of modern shops. Staying in Prati provided all of Rome at your fingertips. A few examples? If you want to reach Vatican City and see the Vatican Museums or get to San Pietro, it will take you 5 minutes on foot; The Spanish Steps are only a 15-minute walk away, the Trevi Fountain at 20, Piazza Navona at 15 minutes. The Lepanto and Ottaviano metro stops, together with those of the city buses, will ensure you an effective connection with other more distant places in the capital.
