The house is surrounded by a large natural plot with olive and fruit trees - ideal for relaxing, hiking and swimming in the nearby torrent or in the warm thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni, Bagno San Filippo (both 25 km) and Saturnia (40 km). Worth visiting are also the nearby medieval towns of Amiata such as Castel del Piano (3 km) and Seggiano (5 km), famous among other things for their local cuisine with porcini mushrooms, game goulash and especially the Pecorino sheep's cheese in various qualities; from Montalcino (30 km) comes the good red wine (Rosso).
