Comfortable modern apartment, beautiful views and in the historical centre, two minutes walk from one of Italy's most beautiful piazzas and a 10 minute walk to the beach and Marina. It’s perfect for two, has a separate kitchen and shower-room and a balcony overlooking the cliffs and sea. For 2019 we've added Air Con, Super Fast Fibre Broadband, access to Netflix, Amazon TV and Apple TV, a Bluetooth music system and a Nespresso coffee machine. We also provide beach towels, umbrellas and a cool bag for days out. Parking is available at the end of our street with 3 car parks - 1 offering free parking all year round and the other 2 require payment during peak season (July and August and holidays - details in our photos section). The Studio is self contained and is within a short walking distance of all the attractions of Pizzo with restaurants, cafe’s and shops close by. It is at ground floor level, however, as it is in the historic part of town, access is via narrow, winding cobbled streets which include a number of flights of stairs and therefore may be a challenge for the disabled or very elderly. The apartment is heated via the air conditioning system.

I came to Pizzo for the first time over thirty years ago while hitch hiking round Europe with a group of friends. Having spent time in the South of France and Israel, we were immediately captivated by the spirit of the town, the open generosity of the people who lived here… and of course the Ice Cream! I never left and the attraction remains as strong today. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Piazza or relax an the beach or Marina (a 5 minute walk from the Studio) there's plenty to do near by: its a short trip down the beautiful rugged coast to Tropea, Capo Vaticano or Scilla, a short boat ride to experience Stromboli (visible from Pizzo), Sicily or the Aeolian Islands, a stunning volcanic archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea... Pizzo is a lively, attractive working town. Locally, it's easy to get by without a car, shops, cafes, restaurants etc are all within easy reach. Enjoy fantastic food and the best ice cream in Italy(!) or relax on the beach or down at the Marina (a 10 minute walk). There's plenty to do near by, it's a short trip down the beautiful rugged coast to Tropea, Capo Vaticano or Scilla and a short boat ride to experience Stromboli (visible from Pizzo) and the Aeolian Islands, a stunning volcanic archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea between Pizzo and Sicily. The main supermarkets are located on the outskirts of the town, so a short car or taxi ride away. Public transport is limited so if you want to explore the wider inland area we recommend car hire however, the train provides an excellent and cheap service up and down the coast - Naples, Lamezia, Tropea, Scilla and Reggio are all within a day trip.
