Kawazen is a Japanese villa, renovated to high-end international standards in late 2019, which is conveniently located near the Shinyu and Furusato no Yu onsens, in the Nozawa Onsen village. It’s an easy walk to everything that you may need. The nicest public onsen with an outdoor onsen, Furusato no Yu is less than a minute’s walk from the house. The main O-yu street and most of the restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk away and the slopes are only 10 minutes by moving walkway.

Traditional quaint Japanese village with fantastic snow (up to 12 meters/year!) and plenty of public onsens to enjoy at the end of a long day on the slopes. The locals are really friendly and the town is beautiful. And as an extra bonus, Nozawa was the host of the 1998 Winter Olympics! During the summer, the gondolas open for mountain biking activities.
