Hello, I’m Charaka, your host at Eco Blueprint Garden. I welcome guests who value nature, calm surroundings, and experiences that feel genuine and unhurried. For me, hosting is about care ... creating a space where people can relax, slow down, feel at ease, and allow a quiet sense of healing and renewal to emerge naturally. Our home sits within a generations-old Kandyan-era agroforestry garden, shaped over time through long family traditions and local aesthetic healing agriculture principles, where food, beauty, health, meaning and daily life grow together naturally. I enjoy preparing simple home-cooked meals using fresh organically grown ingredients from the garden whenever possible, and sourcing the rest carefully from nearby villages. Food is at the heart of the experience here. We come from a tradition where food is the first form of care, and well-being begins with what is grown, cooked, and shared each day. With fresh coconut, seasonal fruits, herbs, and spices grown in the garden, we offer flavours that are deeply local and difficult to replicate. On request, we also prepare garden-to-table and ocean-to-table meals using fresh seafood from the coast. We host a limited number of guests, allowing us to focus on personal care, freshness, and attention to detail. Being just 40 minutes from the airport, the garden is also a peaceful place to rest before or after a journey.

Eco Blueprint Garden is conveniently located just 40 minutes from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and about 40 minutes from the popular Negombo Beach Tourist center, making it an ideal first or last stop in Sri Lanka. The surrounding area is made up of peaceful rural villages, offering a refreshing alternative to busy urban life. Several important historical sites, including Paduwasnuwara and Dambadeniya, are within easy reach. Guests interested in local culture, temples, and forest hermitages will find many of these places just a few minutes away. Mirigama Railway Station is about 20 minutes away by tuk-tuk, providing easy access to scenic train journeys across the island. From Mirigama, guests can also connect to the expressway, making travel to many of Sri Lanka’s most attractive destinations smooth and convenient.
