Our little piece of paradise is situated right opposite Kabalana beach with two surf breaks, an endless stretch of beautiful sand and lots of Lankan vibes. There are also three other surf breaks within walking distance, as well as bars, restaurants and yoga facilities. We renovated Ark ourselves and are pretty pleased with the outcome of the long hours spent crafting and building- we hope you enjoy the space and vibe as much as we do. It is a house where you can just 'be'- it has all you need, it is full of character and we can help with any tiny detail to make your stay as perfect and memorable as possible.

I have been in Sri Lanka for some years now and there are two things which are very important to me which are being able to express creativity and surfing. I have renovated the house with some friends and hope you find the same joy as us in a fulfilling but simple lifestyle at Ark.

Our neighbourhood is all about the beaches, surf and yoga, as well as local Sri Lankan culture! We are located just outside a traditional fishing village so you can experience 'real' Sri Lanka as well as the tropical beachy playground that we call home. There are some great bars and restaurants very close by, serving up both local and Western goodies! Fresh fruit juices and Thambili (king coconuts) are available everrrywhere and remind you daily that you are in paradise!
