Placed on probably the most important area, and set in a traditionally decorated house, Vila Jovan is an authentic gem of Ohrid's UNESCO-listed city center. The Vila is build in 19th-centery ,as it is preserve as it was with many authentic pieces of furniture and details of Macedonian handcraft. Rooms at House Jovan combine a rustic ambience with panoramic views and modern amenities. Our guesthouse has a perfect, centric location to be able to visit the best historic treasures to be able to visit the best historic treasures of Ohrid, taste gastronomy delights and enjoy the nearness of the lake. Only one minute away from the Villa, on the lake Ohrid shore, is our authentic restaurant Cun. For the adventurous type of guests we are offering sailing on the lake, and for the more traditional type we have visit in the filigree studio next to us.

Close by is the church of St. Sophia, one of the most important an best monuments in Macedonia originally build end of 9th century; Samuel's fortress, on the top of the hill, ancient capital from 1018 year; Saint John at Kaneo orthodox situated on cliff over the lake.
