The property is situated in the heart of Mellieha. It boasts of great views and has most comforts. Every morning you can enjoy beautiful sunrise from the terrace overlooking the Palace of Selmun having your breakfast. The apartment is on the second floor and has no lift but the stairs are comfortable. The property has a lot of natural light.

My interests are restoring classic cars and sailing. I also enjoy meeting people and giving an explanation of the Maltese islands and their history. If asked I can direct you to visit the best sites around the island and also guide you on how best to pursue your interests. I try my best to make the property comfortable and guest happy and any suggestions are welcome to help improve the property. I am very clear with things and have no blind corners. This is a non smoking apartment inside and outside. if you want to smoke choose another property. If you smoke you loose your deposit and you will have to find another property as it will not be tolerated. You have been warned! Respect the other Guests after you. Smoking smell is not easily eliminated.

In the area you can find shops that cater for your every day needs. These include a pharmacy with a sit-in doctor, a supermarket, a vegetable shop, a butcher shop, a bank and several ATMs. Public transport is within reach. Buses can take you to almost all destination around Malta as well to the ferry if you wish to visit the islands of Gozo and Comino. Getting around locally is easily done on foot. The closest sandy beach is only 20 minutes away. Other beaches can be reached by car, by bus or by shuttle buses. The latter need to be booked in advance. Mellieha is surrounded by the sea and by countryside. It is easy to go for walks or trekking. The main attractions are the church that is perched on top of the hillside overlooking the bays and the village and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Mellieha where according to tradition there is a fresco that was painted by St Luke in AD60. There are a number of fortifications you can visit including St Agatha's Tower known as the Red Tower; the White Tower facing Comino and a battery that now houses the Tonnara Maritime Museum. The latter gives you a close look at how tuna fishing was done in the early 20th century. A must visit is to the World War II shelters. If you like walking or trekking visit the Mgiebah Valley. The Majjistral Nature and History Park, a nature reserve that includes the coastal area in Golden Bay to Il-Prajjet and Ix- Xagħra l-Ħamra, is only 20 minutes away.
