A newly renovated bright cosy studio maisonette listed in May 2019, ideal for one to two persons. Conveniently located in Floriana, in a quiet cul de sac just off the Grand Harbour and a short stroll to Valletta. On entering the ground floor studio maisonette, you will find the living area: two comfortable armchairs, coffee table and flat screen android TV. Following this, you will find a comfortable king sized bed, side tables and adequately spaced wardrobe. The studio maisonette is equipped with a new and modern kitchenette including built in fridge/freezer, an induction hob, microwave/oven, kettle, toaster, pots, pans and kitchen utensils. You will also find a washing machine/ tumble dryer, steam iron and ironing board. The bathroom is adequately sized with sink and cabinet, toilet and shower. It has a small window overlooking the small outdoor area. Clean bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided. The studio maisonette is air-conditioned (cooling/heating functions) and free high-speed wireless internet is also accessible. The studio maisonette’s biggest asset is definitely its location. It is simply an eight-minute walk to “the fortress city” better known as Malta’s capital, Valletta - abundantly rich in sites to explore, numerous quaint cafes and exquisite restaurants, lined with international branded shops. This also means, it is an eight-minute walk to the bus terminus in Valletta and you have easy access to various attractions across the Maltese island, for example, the majestic Mosta dome, Mosta, the grand St. Paul’s cathedral, Mdina, Malta’s fishing village, Marsaxlokk, beaches including Golden Bay etc. Please check out the Malta Public Transport website. Alternatively, you may choose to rent a car. Street parking is available, some areas are timed parking (for certain hours) or you may choose to park in the Floriana parking lot (approximately 3 euros per day). A passenger ferry service also operates from Valletta to Sliema and Valletta to Birgu (and vice versa). The dock for the Birgu ferry is linked to Valletta by the Barrakka Lift, which finishes at the Upper Barrakka Gardens. A grocery is also close by.
