Hi I am Dina Lama. My husband's name is Brian Thomas Kramer. We have two beautiful girls of 6 and 3 and a half years old. We have been married for 9 years , and together we have been devoted to work among the children and women at risk. We have been providing skilfull training and jobs to young people and specially for Women. We have been running Schools for the children who work at the brick factory in Kathmandu. We provide health and sanitization training , parenting training to the parents from brickfactory area and as well as in different places . Procedures from the Guest house goes to these areas we are working on. And We would like to say thank you to all the precious guests who stayed and will stay with us. WELCOME TO HIRA GUEST HOUSE Experience the 17th century Newar luxury in 300 years old monument and enjoy your comfortable stay. KNOWING MORE ABOUT THIS MONUMENT Hira Guest house is situated at Patan/Lalitpur which is amongst one of Kathmandu’s three royal cities. Hira Building belonged to a Newari RajBhandari local guy whose ancestor father worked for the King Himself as a treasurer in Patan durbar Square. (you can see family photo with their government hat) at the property. The local residents here are Newar people who have their own culture and language.There are 4 alleys around the community, ending with a ‘chowk’ means a backyard. One of those chowk isour beautifully inherited Hira Guest House which is today a home to many touristsfor its untouched architect. The other attraction of the building are its windows which is an ancient hand crafted beauty called‘Tik-jhya’.HGH is crafted from ancient mud walls and weathered bricks, stands as a testament to the craftsmanship of bygone eras.The Guest house has a common backyard which keeps you away from the pollution and crowds of the city and makes you feel relax. Visitors have the opportunity to explore various local attractions within close proximity to their accommodation. Just a two-minute walk away, they can marvel at the beauty of the Golden Temple and immerse in the ambiance of ‘Nagbahal’. Within a five-minute walking distance there is‘Mangal Bazar’, where they can wander through vibrant streets filled with bustling markets and authentic cultural experiences. Additionally, visitors can embark on an enlightening ancient city tour, to the rich history and heritage of the area, uncovering its hidden gems and architectural marvels along the way. Hira Guest House is located in the Walking distance of all the attractions of Patan like Famous Golden Temple is Just opposite to the Guest House, Restaurants, Local shops, Handicrafts, are all surrounded near us. Patan Durbar Square is 2 minutes walking from Hira Guest House. There is Walking Tour event, spa service, couple tour for the occassion of valentine's day! Hira Guest House's building is old building newly renovated and has newari style stairs, has chowk to play for kids, library with books and games. We provide play pen or crib for small kids.
