Skylark Cabin is private, luxury accommodation with an outdoor hot tub nestled serenely within the awe inspiring landscape of New Zealand’s iconic Mackenzie Region. Surrounded by soaring mountain ranges and the rugged, ethereal beauty of the expansive views, this isn’t just a luxurious place to stay, it’s an experience in itself.
We love living in the Mackenzie, trail biking and kayaking and walking are our main interests and there is so much to do here. We have been hosting guests at Skylark Cabin since 2021.
The cabin is on Manuka Terrace, a 10 min drive (12k) from the town of Twizel in the heart of the Mackenzie High-country. The road is mainly lifestyle blocks and there are no streetlights. The scenery is stunning and the big skies dominate.
Mt Cook is a 50 min drive. Tekapo a 45 min drive. Lake Pukaki and Ohau 5 min.
