Beautiful air conditioned purpose built studio with king bed in a modern, up market new house on a quiet residential street. The studio is large and comfortable with armchairs and tea/coffee making facility. It is just a short drive to the lake for a pleasant evening stroll or to the Ploughmans Restaurant or Two Mile Bay Sailing Club for a meal. Only 5 minutes away is Taupo’s new entertainment centre “ The Landing “ which offers Mavericks Gastropub with great lake and mountain views, there is also a great cafe, mini golf and ten pin bowling . The airport is also a 5 minute drive, as well as the Supermarket. It is only a 10 minute scenic drive along the Lake Terrace to the Taupo CBD, which offers fabulous shopping and a great selection of cafés and restaurants.
Located in Taupo, where you can enjoy walks around the lake, cycling, swimming, the mountain views and thermal pools. This is a new housing development typical of what you will find throughout New Zealand. Although we do not have direct access to the lake we do have views of Mount Tahara. It is advantageous not to be close to the lake as it avoids the sand flies and the cold wind. We are however a 5 minute drive down to the lake for a swim in summer or just a picturesque walk on the lakefront. Just 8 minutes by car will take you to thermal pools. There are numerous activities to choose from in Taupo suitable for all ages and abilities and it needs a full day to explore and enjoy this stunning part of New Zealand with its lake and mountains.
