Waitapu Springs is situated about 1 kilometre from Takaka town centre. Waitapu is Maori's for 'sacred water'. Springs refer to our own well. Spend good nights in our new B&B rooms with Queen size beds or stay in our cottage room en-suite. In the morning we serve you a Belgian Breakfast with a hint of Chocolate. At evening you can use the BBQ area and enjoy our beautiful garden. Relax after your adventure day in the Spa or make it your Relaxing Get-Away weekend!
A few years ago we moved from Belgium to New Zealand. A dream came true. We love to welcome people from all over the world and make them feel at home during their stay in Golden Bay.
Waitapu Springs is located in a rural area next town in the middle of the Bay. Golden Bay is a region with endless variety, where beaches, alpine valleys and tranquil rivers share a close proximity with the sea.
Next door you have the Waikoropupu Springs and Hydro walk. 5 min drive Takaka airport, 45 min drive Spit, Wharariki beach and Cape Farewell. The other site, 35 min drive, Abel Tasman Park, Wanui Falls and more.
