The House Lagma is in an old ironworker's house. You can find many different parts of the rustic inside the house. The big room, in the past named "hiša" as a house, where familly gathered, was renovated in a studio. There is new furniture decorated with a heritage of Železniki, such as bobbin lace and iron artifacts. The house is located in an old part of Železniki, just a few minutes walk from the Železniki Museum. It has private parking near the main road wich connect Gorenjska region and Primorska. The big church of St. Anton is located right next to the house. The bells are ringing every 15 minutes, but they are quiet by night.

The Selška valley is a dynamic and diverse landscape beneath mount Ratitovec. Crystal clear river Selška Sora surrounded by hills and forests is magnificent. The land beneath mount Ratitovec is warmly welcoming with its rich technical and cultural heritage while offering endless leisure possibilities in beautiful, peaceful nature. You can enjoy walking throughout the rich history in the Železniki Museum. It's located in the old part of Železniki in a mighty ironworker's house. On the ground floor, you can see the artefacts of the ironworking heritage from the mid-14th to the early 20th century. Železniki is known by bobbin lace-making, and there is a rich collection in the museum you can see. The craft of bobbin lace making is spread to the Selška valley from Idrija in the last decades of the nineteenth century. It was an important income for many families, due to the lack of jobs. Alpine foothills in Slovenia offer an abundance of relaxing moments in the intact nature. You can explore the diverse terrain on foot or by bike. Swimming is possible at the swimming pool or in summer in river Selška Sora. In winter, you have well-tended ski slopes and cross-country trails. Just about 32 km from the property is famous lake Bled. Beautiful panoramic road will pass you by the mysterious Dražgoše village, through the iron city of Kropa, to Radovljica, where you can find chocolate factory Gorenjka and ski factory Elan. Soon you'll then you'll reach the destination, Lake Bled. Towards west the main scenic road will take you to the mountin village Sorica (12 km), which is famous by an artist Simon Grohar, you can stop there by Tolc restaurant and have a great homemade meal. Then you can decide, either to continue to Primorska region through the Baška valley to Most na Soči (36 km) or to pass Soriška planina (8 km), where you can hike or ski and then drive further to Bohinj lake (25 km).
