His grandmother, Etta Egeland, founded the Historical Museum here…a must see to learn about early life in this slice of paradise. If you are looking for a home setting this is the place to start. Do more than “book” a place to stay…let us help you plan an experience of island life. The San Juan Islands were named in 2011 as the number 2 place to visit by the New York Times. Property information

We have owned The Peter Jensen House for over 20 years. In 2013 we started a complete remodel of the entire property. Everything is fresh and updated. The last part of our remodel is the landscaping. This fall, when our rental season closes we will start the tree planting. We will always be upgrading and improving our property for you enjoyment so consider the Peter Jensen house as your little home on the island with everything you need to live like a local if only for a short stay. You are always welcome.

The Peter Jensen House is located in the Historical District of Friday Harbor. This home was built in 1895 by Peter Jensen for his bride Hanna. It is located only 2 blocks from the center of downtown Friday Harbor and about 4 short walking blocks from the Washington State ferry. Close enough you can come and enjoy our town without a car. You can walk to every restaurant and shop from this property.
