Ramsgate's main beach is just a 200m stroll away and is a swimming beach ideal for fishing, body-boarding or paddle-surfing and there is a is ski-boat launch site on the neighboring beach too. It is lifeguarded in season. Enjoy watching whales from the Whale-viewing Deck over looking the main Ramsgate beach. Ramsgate main beach is a Life-guarded Blue Flag Beach with a tidal pool, lagoon, paddle boats and restaurants ie The Waffle House & Blue Lagoon Restaurant. The Ramsgate village offers a super variety of fine restaurants, cafes and pubs for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as an Art Gallery and two antique stores.
