Netflix, YouTube and other apps on Smart TV, fully fitted kitchen, separate bathroom with shower and bath, own private garden area, lots of birds, 5 minutes drive from famous Muizenberg surfing beach, ideal for nature lovers, vlei is walking distance where you can see all sorts of birds - sometimes even pelicans, if you're lucky. Easy access by train or car to Kalk Bay village, which is filled with quaint shops, eateries, fish and chips on a working harbour and the famous Brass Bell pub. Or visit the penguins at Boulders Beach in Simonstown. Live music in Muizenberg at The Striped Horse or at The Brass Bell or at our local Friday evening market. Mountain hikes on the mountain just behind us. Safe with cars behind an electric gate and we have elec fencing and an alarm.

We love meeting people from all over the world and many of our guests have become lifetime friends. We're easy-going, love our garden and home, and have two very friendly dogs and a sweet cat. Stu works from home (chef) and you can order meals from him, if you don't feel like cooking, braaing or going out for supper. He can even help you with a braai, if you're not 100% sure how to make one.

A lovely neighbourhood on Sandvlei, Lakeside, where people canoe, windsurf and sail. The vlei runs into the sea at Muizenberg beach. You can borrow our old bikes to ride around as well. Close to Muizenberg's surfing beach by car, train or bike. 5 minutes drive. Convenient Woolworths in walking distance if you want to stock up on some yummy food. There's also a lovely coffee bar and sushi place in the WW Old Bakery Centre. PnP and Checkers are also nearby, by car. Nice restaurants and some live music in Muizenberg. Just much quieter at our place, than staying in Muizenberg. If you're young, single and looking for a party, we suggest you rather book there.
