- Friendly and informative staff - The location is outside the center of Basel but there is a bus leaving right outside the hotel which brings you to the center of the city in 15 minuts (and the hotel provides free tickets) - Nice budget breakfast above average - Quiet at night - There is nice outdoor swimming pools 5 minuts away (walking). You have to pay when entering

booked to stay overnight at the IBIS Budget City hotel because it was close to the Bahnhof Basel SBB and the front desk was open till midnight or more. I took a taxi to the hotel and was booked in by a friendly and helpful staff member.

A regular Ibis Budget hotel for our family looking for an affordable accommodation, clean room, free onsite parking, and tasty breakfast on the busy road trips. Bunk bed is definitely reasonable for our daughter. Professional and very polite hotel staff (above average for Ibis Budget)

The location is very good, near the main station. The room was as expected for a budget hotel. The receptionist with the grey dress at check-in was very nice! We had no breakfast so I can not comment on that but the breakfast area looked nice. It is a decent cheap hotel for a quick stay.
