Located 1 km from Madrid-Barajas Airport and the IFEMA exhibition centre, the Ibis Aeropuerto Barajas offers a 24-hour snack bar. Rooms feature air conditioning, wooden floors and a flat-screen TV. I left the hotel at 4:40 am, and it was easy to take a cab at that hour. There was a cab line outside the hotel. The room was spacious and super clean. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I recommend it 100%.

Το Ibis Madrid Alcorcon Tresaguas βρίσκεται στην πόλη Alcorcón στη Μαδρίτη, 50μ. από τον αυτοκινητόδρομο Α-5. Προσφέρει κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια με δορυφορική τηλεόραση και δωρεάν, ασφαλή χώρο... I would have to say that I spent quite some time checking for hotels in the Madrid area when planning my visit and during this time as a first time traveller here I spent quite some time to read the reviews. The first thing to understand is that this is a place which is a hidden gem, a real treasure for a lot of reasons. The first thing is the location, it is located in Alcorcon which makes it sound bad but when you find out that it has bus stop right at the hotel door and you can take several lines and a metro to go anywhere you like. Let's give one simple example, you are just one bus away, yes just one bus away straight away from the hotel to Principe Pio where you can go out and take metro right away. Even there the Real Palace or Temple of Debod are just a few minutes walk, together with many other popular attractions. You also have a major shopping center a few minutes on foot, you can buy all the gifts you want. What is more surprising is how different the hotel is the reviews which must be outdated. My room actually has a newer modern TV, the sheets, bathrooms and everything are super clean and changed every single day. The cleaning stuff is present all over the hotel all day. The staff is excellent, they all speak English insanely good, and most of the time you will see some really sweet girls at the counter, available to help you with directions, printing and everything else. In particular in staff, remember Jesus because he really loves his job and admires his shift, he also does make an excellent caffe!! With this I say most bad things are not existing, the staff really likes their job, and maybe those bad experiences were perhaps misunderstandings. As for the smell of smoking I would say that the hotel is super clean, and for those having experience different, I would say it must be some isolated case, perhaps some previous inresponsible client.
