It was an extraordinary experience. As a couple exploring the Grindelwald region for the first time, we were absolutely captivated by this accommodation. Choosing a room with a view allowed us to wake up to a stunning panorama every day, and I highly recommend it. The location is centrally positioned, providing excellent access to nearby villages and hiking activities. The room quality, food, staff, and the hotel’s aesthetic were all impeccable. The underground parking was a nice bonus. The hotel kitchen was delightful. 10/10. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again. We already miss it!

Breakfast was a highlight! Loved the spread of fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, and omelette station. We enjoyed the spa one evening. We loved the location. Made it easy to get to other towns and was less touristy than Lauterbrunnen.

This is a place that is a joint home for the elderly and a hotel for tourists. So meal is together in the dining room on separate tables. There are also many elderly that can be seen in the common areas who are lovely and smiley to tourists. I really appreciated the business concept and idea as it is unique but hopefully mutually benefiting the elderly community as well as the tourists.
