Amazing Hotel in Engelberg! We have enjoyed to the fullest our stay at Hotel Waldegg. The staff was extremely friendly and the provided service was fantastic. Every day we received a printed forecast for the next day mentioning the weather and what activities we could do. The Spa was great. There is one big swimming pool inside and a hot water tub outside on the terrace. The saunas were nice too. The Hotel is a little bit up on a hill, but you can easily reach it by bus or taxi. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was delicious. There was a buffet with lots of choice. Furthermore, you could also order additional hot meals from the menu as scrambled eggs, omelettes, etc. The staff in the breakfast room was very friendly as well. The hotel has also 2 restaurants, one for European cuisine and one Thai cuisine. We tried both of them and enjoyed our meals.

Offering panoramic views of the North Face of the Eiger and the Bernese Alps, this family-run 4-star superior hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Grindelwald.

I particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker, daily restocked minibar, and yoga mats. For those looking for a touch of luxury, some rooms come with private saunas and fireplaces. - Dining: Dining at the on-site restaurant, BG's Grill, was a delight. Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

Hotel is amazing- the staff we really nice & helpfull to provide a very special request i asked them. The location is a bit far from center , but the view from the mountain was incredible. rooms view is so lovely- its actually as in the photos. breakfast is really good and have variant options, also dinner was tasty. i am definitely visiting Grindelwald again and i will not stay in any different place.
