Staff were very friendly and helpful, we feel like stay at home. Especially Xiao He, he has been very helpful to assist with our request in arrange for our private van, he is very informative to make sure we can enjoy the most with the stay. Our first time visit Lijiang has been wonderfully. I will come and stay with them again if come to Lijiang.

The hotel is located near the old town and easily contacted by wechat, the owner is friendly and responded us very quickly. You can book car service to pick up from airport here with reasonable price. The same with tours around the city such as trip to Snow Moutain, Lugu lake,.... Room is nice, clean, and warm with air-conditioner, hair dryer, shampoo and everything else, I don't need to bring any of those with me in this trip. Especially if you love cake, try the rose cake from the hotel. It is so good I have to ask the owner to order for me to bring home as gift. They offer better prices than you go buy it yourself out in the old town. To sum up, it was a very pleased experience with Gemmer Hotel and Lijiang Old Town.

A family run Inn, in an inner courtyard, with lots of charme; great room and toilet (with huge separate tub), with comfort and all amenities you might want (AC, multi channel TV, good wifi). Our host was very welcoming. She provided us with helpful info about things to do in Yunnan province, where to eat/go locally which we loved and helped us book our driver for day trips. As we were travelling as a multi generational family of 6, we booked the entire house which was very spacious and the view from the rooftops was lovely.

Such a beautiful hotel. The scenery is amazing from every angle. The restaurants and bakery on site were excellent - we were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and they were able to arrange a cake with candles at very short notice and even delivered a complimentary cake to our room later in the evening! Breakfast buffet had a great spread of western and Asian foods. The kids enjoyed the petting zoo and animal feeding and complimentary hotel activities such as tie dyeing. Overall, an amazing stay.
