Anthony was very helpful explaining us the places to go in the national park and helping us book the tickets for the heavens gate. The Zhangjiajie Forest park entrance is only 10 minutes walking from the hotel and he even accompanied us the first day hiking in the park.

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location and room were top notch. We got a free room upgrade to a Superior Suite that got us an unbelievable view into the valley and towards the iconic Zhangjiajie mountains. Special thanks to the owner and crew, who drafted up a travel plan that fit the duration of our stay in the Zhangjiajie area and got us all of the needed tickets. This was incredibly helpful, especially for us being complete strangers to the area. This, as well as shuttle services to the park entrances and transfers from the airport, were all arranged for no additional cost. We also enjoyed the food, the ingredients of which come from their own farm. Our wishes were taken into account wherever possible. All in all, highly recommended for a stay in the mountains and we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at No.5 Valley Lodge was excellent! The staff was amazing – especially Rain, who was incredibly helpful and always available when we needed something. Everyone working there was kind and made us feel truly welcome. The location is peaceful and beautiful, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area.

My stay at Guan Yun Shan Ju was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Tucked away in the serene mountains, this lodge truly lives up to its name "Cloud-Gazing." Waking up to a sea of clouds right outside our window was nothing short of magical. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a tasteful blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The wooden beams and soft lighting created a very cozy atmosphere. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional; they were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight! We enjoyed delicious, locally-sourced meals that were both fresh and flavorful. Sitting on the terrace, sipping tea, and watching the clouds roll by was the perfect way to unwind. It's an ideal retreat for anyone looking to disconnect from the city's hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning.

​Review for Hua Ting Guesthouse​​ ​​Title: The Perfect Base for Our Avatar Adventure! Exceptional Hospitality!​​ Our stay at Hua Ting Guesthouse was an unforgettable part of our Zhangjiajiaje experience. The main reason for our visit was to see the "Avatar Mountains," and this guesthouse proved to be the perfect choice. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the South Gate of the National Forest Park. This allowed us to get an early start to beat the crowds to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (where the "Hallelujah Mountain" pillar is). After a long day of hiking and being amazed by the floating peaks that inspired the world of Pandora, it was such a relief to know a comfortable and welcoming place was so close by. The highest praise, however, goes to the owner, Mrs. Wang. Her service was absolutely outstanding! She is not only incredibly warm and friendly but also highly professional. Upon our arrival, she sat down with us with a detailed map and gave us a brilliant itinerary to optimize our time. She explained exactly which buses to take, the best order to see the sights, and even the perfect timing to catch the sunset. Her advice saved us so much time and confusion. She made us feel like family, always asking about our day and offering us tea. Her hospitality truly made our trip seamless and much more enjoyable. The guesthouse itself is charming, very clean, and has a lovely, peaceful courtyard—a great place to relax in the evening. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained. If you are visiting Zhangjiajie for the Avatar mountains, look no further. You not only get great value and location but also the invaluable, kind guidance from Mrs. Wang. We cannot recommend Hua Ting Guesthouse highly enough! Thank you for making our trip so special!

Amazing staff which was really helpful and super kind! They were really attentive and asked us beforehand what we would like for breakfast. We arrived quite late and they even offered us dinner. The facilities were new and clean. The pool is amazing. Big thank you to Miss Li who made us feel like home!

The property is in a perfect location, in a quiet area close to the South Gate of the park. We got a really nice room, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Swimming pool is huge with a nice and cozy garden around it. Dinner was very good and freshly cooked, one of the best meals of our stay in China. The owners are very kind and they drove us to the entrance park multiple days. I definitely recommend this hotel, hope to be back soon.
