This place is awesome, a true luxury experience in the middle of the jungle. We booked the cabana El Cielo, that is at the highest point, with a 360 view of the jungle just outside Tayrona park. Everything is brand new and you can see that everything was created with a lot of care and attention to details. The room is super spacious with a very comfy bed. You have two bathrooms, one inside the room and one with the shower in a separate area outside together with a fully equipped kitchen. The space outside the room is fantastic and peaceful, with a small private pool and hammock. You can see birds, colibri, and just feel fully connected with nature. We did not have enough time to enjoy the big common pool, but it looked great. All the staff was super friendly and kind. Ana Maria and Thomas were available for everything. They assisted us with transportation, gave us advices for activities in the area, and helped us ordering food in the evening (which was delivered directly to our room). The breakfast was delicious, with ingredients directly coming from their farm and plenty of fresh fruits. We had the avocado tostones every day, they were so good! I am so glad we booked this place, it was one of the best we’ve ever been and I would recommend it to everyone that want to visit Tayrona and stay in close contact with nature.

We booked only 1 night at MadreSierra to bridge the gap between our Tayrona trip and our way back to Cartagena. What a mistake - we should have stayed a week!! This is the most hidden away paradise you can imagine. Everything from the service by lovely Fernando with complimentary welcome cocktails to bringing our bags up and down to the room and turning up our jacuzzi. This was an utter surprise and delight for our tired hiking bodies. They’ve accommodated our room changes even though they didn’t have to, made us complimentary brownies when we mentioned we craved chocolate and simply have been fantastic in every regard. This place also - just wow! You have WiFi to work, amazing nature, great food, natural pools in the river and a regular pool about to be finished.

Great location at the front of Calabazo entrance to National Park (i would really recommend hiking from this entrance over Zaino. It was much more enjoyable - less people, no horses making the track muddy). The hostel is lovely, very peaceful, nice dinners.

It's an absolutely stunningly beautiful place in a beautiful scenery. It is well kept, super clean and comfortable. The rooms a spacious and nice, my bathroom was sooooooo beautiful with outdoor shower, loved it!! The owners thought of every little detail: A hall for yoga and meditation, hammocks, pool, breakfast included. The owners were total sweethearts and I was sad that I only stayed one night. Total recommendation!!!

Loved our stay. Quit environment and nice rooms with good beds. Located not far from Tayronne entrance. After the hike a nice way to relax at the pool and even a possibility to take a massage.

We're traveling for almost five months through South America and this was by far the best accommodation that we had! It all started with a smooth WhatsApp contact after booking, where the accommodation helped us to arrange a taxi from the Santa Marta airport straight to the accommodation. From the moment of arrival, we felt very welcome. Our room was spacious, absolutely clean and had a great balcony. We also enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. One afternoon, we could even observe three toucans from there! The accommodation is also just a five minute walk from the Tayrona park main entrance away and a great restaurants. An extra bonus were the extremely cute cats and dogs that live on the property.
