    I rarely give 10 but this hotel deserves it. Excellent spa, friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Accommodation was lovely. We had a balcony room with views across the garden and out to the fjord. The food was fresh and delicious, free tea/coffee and juice available, easy access to the countryside and some lovely walks. Very comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings- perfect for relaxing and recharging.

    Such a wonderful hotel! Great location by super scenic fjord and marina, room was comfortable, spacious, and totally quiet, and the spa was incredible. The building from 1902 (ish) is full of history and architectural charm from that time period, but everything seems fully renovated and in top condition, so really the best of both worlds. Breakfast was great, although not the largest variety of items (but more than enough for 2 days). Staff was very friendly and helpful.

    the rooms are very spacious and we had a nice view. you get you robe in the room so you can stroll down to the spa in your robe. The bar had a nice food menu, if you don’t want to eat in the more upmarket restaurant every night. the spa facilities are amazing, especially the comfy beds and the outdoor jacuzzi.
