This is, simply put, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was fantastic: quiet, beautiful and with plenty of amenities (and gadgets!). I loved the fact that they left some complementary fruits and snacks, plenty of water, tea and coffee. I had dinner and breakfast at the Ministry of Spices and the food was incredible. There were all sorts of delicacies (the desserts were small art pieces, so delicious!) from South to North Indian food with fresh breads baked on the spot, pizzas and other Western items too. As a person who is into sports, I have to leave a special comment about the gym. The facilities are not only beautiful and big but updated, well taken care of and they have the amazing luxury of a trainer to help out! On top of all that, you get a free shuttle to the airport that is not the usual van that you have to book, but a car at your disposal whenever you need it. The staff was fantastic and the price totally affordable. I hope it stays that way for many years as I am planning to return every time I am in Chennai!

I was not feeling well when I arrived so I had two meals in my room, the staff were very flexible when I asked for something that was not on the menu - they allowed me to have it. Also, I told them I was not feeling well and a young woman said she would check on me which she did, that day and the next. I felt the service was very caring.
