This is simply the best place I ever booked through booking.com. The location is amazing, the apartment is extremely nice, kitchen well equipped, and there is even a hot tub from which you can look at the sunset or the northern lights. Would recommend for sure. Host was also very kind

Perfectly surreal location, excellent facilities, and cleanliness. From hot tub to glass walls, everything exudes a classy warmth. One doesn't even need to step out to experience the nature! A 4x4 is required, but the outcome totally justifies all the troubles.

We liked everything: hospitality, location, view, cleanliness and style, how well equipped cabins were! What an amazing town, full of history and good people. Dagur, thank you for running the hot tub for us!! It was such a perfect finish to our long day! So much to see, so little time. I guess we'll have to come again! Helga and Dagur also know everything about skiing, if you are considering coming in the winter. Don't hesitate, you won't regret!!

The host is very helpful and gives us clear description on how to reach the property, though the route on Google map is not correct. I would stay longer if I know there's such a nice view and great hot tub near the river. Look forward to staying in the same place again and hope we would see new changes over time.

The location is very good. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are ok. Comfortables. I saw some comments regarding the rooms. People don’t say what is a guesthouse or they do not have the habit to travel. The decoration is very beautiful in the hall. I do recommend this hotel. Please book a table in the restaurante. The best tajine EVER. Bonus the jacuzzi. Love it ! :)

It is a wonder place. The settlement, Ólafsfjörður, is an amazingly located alone, but the small wooden houses add to the experience. It was everything and even more. The hot tub is a must!

Fabulous location in a lesser visited part of Iceland. Comfortable room and shared spaces, fully equipped kitchen for you to use although we enjoyed being pampered to freshly made pancakes and homemade jams for breakfast. Cosy terrace to enjoy the midnight sun or the jacuzzi—just follow the pipe to walk from the house to the hot spring that fills it! Nice, welcoming host, happy to share about life in the area, a welcome change from the anonymous accommodation you find elsewhere.
