Francesca is an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble, she even let us know the day before that the apartment was ready and we could go in anytime we wanted, so helpful. The building itself doesn’t give a great first impression, but believe me once you open the door to the Secret Garden, you’ll be blown away, the apartment is stunning! So many little added extras to make you welcome. The fridge was stocked with water, milk, yoghurts and more, the washing machine was so useful, as we’d been travelling for a few days, so to wash our clothes was a bonus. There were little treats and surprises everywhere! Dressing gowns and slippers were a lovely added extra. It is so apparent that Francesca really cares about her guests. We would definitely return if we’re in the area again and would certainly 100% recommend giving the Secret Garden a try.

Fantastic stay from the minute we booked. Giovanni and Gabriella kept in contact while we made our way from Ireland. From checking in with us along the way to Giovanni meeting us at the B&B and showing us around and how things work. A lovely breakfast hamper of cereal, pastries, and snacks along with milk, tea, coffee, yoghurts, fruit, juice, and also a gift of bread mozzarella tomatoes They have thought of everything! Very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and where to visit. The location was ideal and not far from the train station to walk (less than 15 minutes straight all the way to the old town). The place is so clean and secure. I could go on and on, but I honestly wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Everything was perfect. Clean, comfortable, it really felt like home. Even the coffee was good :-) It’s in a neighborhood that absolutely did not feel touristy. Has a great little store right down the street that sells nice Italian delicacies with a lovely Italian lady. Even though the location is a walk from the main street, ferry and train station we would definitely book this place again if we go to Salerno.
