We had one of the rooms with the private outdoor baths and while we only stayed one night, it was wonderful. It was worth the money for the bath as it was really relaxing (even if it was 30 degrees celcius!) The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. The location is also very close to Fuji Q Highland. There was also the option for a complimentary breakfast although we didn't avail of this.

i love this place, i got the whole house for the two nights stay. and its conveniently located near 7/11 store (just 2 mins walk). you also can view mount fuji near the road, and the view is amazing. however if you were gonna stay here, rent a car, i dont see any taxis around in the area and also you can drive to different lakes and parks with cars.

The location is perfect for exploring the area around Mt. Fuji, with easy access to Honcho old town, Lake Kawaguchi, and the beautiful Kitaguchi Sengen Jinja Shrine surrounded by tall ancient trees. Really enjoyed our stay in this little house! There is everything you need for a comfortable stay (kitchen, washing machine, hot water, breakfast included). We found the tatami to be comfortable also. The breakfast was generous and adapted to our diets (gluten free and vegan). The owner was really nice. It is a bit away from the center but still accessible (20min walk to the nearest train station). But for the price, value and quality with free breakfast, it is an amazing deal. There is a big grocery store 5 min walking also. It was perfect! We would stay there again.
