The room was very cosy and comfortable, the bathrooms clean and functionally equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners were nice and helpful, even though they spoke Japanese, they explained the bus, the hiking possibilities and gave us food recommendations. The location is perfect, 20 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and close to the restaurant and bus stop so you don't need a car. The breakfast is Japanese but adequate.

Such a beautiful house with all the amenities you could ask for! They even provide yoga mats, DVDs (Mononoke etc) , tea, island information, onsen washing sets and swim suits for the natural onsen close by. Everything was perfectly labeled and prepared and easy to understand. In the bathroom, there was a small private onsen and the beds were super comfortable.

Wonderful location, gorgeous place to stay with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, warm baked bread and fresh eggs from the chickens. Miki also organised bento for our long hike and helped with restaurant recommendations and bookings. We loved it here.

The houses are very comfortable and well equipped. We absolutely loved Japanese breakfasts. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. My daughter absolutely loved the goat. Apparently it is not a very easy to tame goat but after 2 days and some carrots it licked her hand ;)
