HARD TO FIND - PLEASE CHECK TIPS BELOW!! Wow, what a new, modern, beautifully styled room. Nice quiet spot off the busy road, friendly hosting family, comfy bed and sheets, plenty of space to put bags and belongings, fresh open air bathroom with large plants, a bath and shower gel/shampoo. The problem was, we have iPhones and used Apple Maps to get to the place, and we never got there! The location on Apple Maps and the address on Booking.com is wrong!! We spent hours driving around with no wifi, asking locals where it was and no one knew. And no one was answering the number provided by Booking.com. So tips, use google maps to locate the place! There isn’t any business signs, it’s a large brick/block fence with a black gate on the corner (vacant block to door). I have added photos from the street. And lastly, it is well worth finding! They are also building a couple more rooms for the future.

Clean room, good shower, good airconditioning, very friendly staff. Bed was comfortable but made some noise when you moved. Location was really perfect, silent environment but only a couple minutes walking from restaurants and beaches.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful accommodation and it was an absolute joy. The high-speed internet access was a godsend, ensuring I could stay connected and manage my work with ease. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing me the freedom to prepare my meals just the way I like. An added convenience was the laundry facility, which was particularly useful during my extended stay. One of the highlights was the property’s proximity to the lake, offering stunning views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find. What made our stay truly special, however, was the lovely couple who own the place. Their warm hospitality and friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Their local tips and knowledge were invaluable in making the most of our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-situated accommodation with all the necessary amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s perfect for both short and long stays. Our stay was really nice and comfortable at Ivy Cottage. The location is perfect, walking distance from Kabalana beach and on a nice road. There's space to park if you need to onsite. The room is spacious and really clean, lots of lighting options and great big bathroom with bathtub and hot shower. The wifi is good too. We slept really comfortably every night and generally had a super comfy stay. The kind guys working there are available for communication pretty much 24/7 & they are keen to make the stay comfortable! Laundry was easy to sort and also a room refresh. Breakfast is really delicious & they are flexible to meet your needs & timings. Highly reccomend!

I loved that I could walk straight from the hotel to the surf spots. When the tide was high, a quick walk along the road got me there just as easily. The waves are incredible, and it’s a dream location for surfers. This place feels like home away from home. From the warm hospitality to the beautiful surroundings, everything about this hotel made our stay special. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again!
