Wonderful house, we really liked it. Everything is very clean, the room has everything you need, from air conditioning and towels to a mini fridge. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable people, if necessary, they will help organize trips to local attractions: the house is located close to Sigeriya, Dambulla, Minneriya National Park. I would also like to note the restaurant on the territory - they cook delicious food and it is very cozy. We are glad that we chose this place in Habarana.

Our host Aruna was fantastic; very welcoming, kind and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and full of traditional food and fresh fruit. The room was perfect and had everything we needed, including the balcony and outdoor jacuzzi pool. We loved the location and surrounding forest and the hotel is a great base to explore Sigiriya and other highlights. Hearing the monkeys on our treehouse roof and seeing lots of wildlife was an added bonus! Would thoroughly recommend!

Kumara and his wife took really good care of us. Their place really is hidden in a lovely garden, with a nice pattio and hammocks under palm trees. The most special thing about this place is the food: it is organic and local (from the garden or the neighbours). Everyday you can try something else. The hosts offer cooking classes in a traditional mud hut. Additionaly Kumara showed us a lot of places: Rigitale Mountain, Sigiriya, Dambulla, but also some batik, jewelry and spice shops.

This hotel was absolutely exquisite, rooms are nestled away at the forest edge. The staff are super helpful and the food was next level. The facilities are stunning. The only thing to note it’s about 7-8km from sigiriya but the hotel does offer shuttle services at a minimal fee. Definitely a must stay!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family not guests .. and the food was the best we have had so far .. from the traditional sri lankan food such as curries to the spanish influenced potatas bravos.. everything is cooked fresh ..an open kitchen so you can watch or as I did .. had a morning cooking lesson to make string hoppers , coconut sambal and Dahl.. .. too good ! . The rooms are large .. plenty of storage and sockets next to bed and great hot water shower. Pool , jacuzzi and wildlife in the garden.. location is amazing ..so quiet but can walk outside and there are shops and a cultural center with local entertainment . Beautiful walk to a lake also for the sunset... we were so happy to have chosen this place . Transport to anywhere can also be provided .

Amazing stay! The location couldn’t be better – it’s literally a few minutes to the Sigiriya Rock entrance, and from our balcony we had the most perfect view of the whole rock. The host is super kind and welcoming. The place is in his garden, and since there’s only one room it feels really private. He even shared fruits and veggies from his own orchard and garden – so fresh and delicious! The room is big, very new, and you can tell he put a lot of thought into making it comfortable. Would definitely stay here again – perfect spot for visiting Sigiriya!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The place is beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery, but what really made it special were the hosts. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely warm, and they speak excellent English, which made communication so easy. They helped us with everything we needed, always with a smile, and made us feel completely at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

The location is perfect to visit both rocks: we just walked there. The view from the restaurant terrace is stunning. The breakfast is more than enough and varied. The family is so genuinely friendly and thoughtful. If you want to stay in Sigiriya, go here. Really nice
