Beldon Hotel was a spacious and very modern accomodation which was in a great location - nice and quiet as it was just a short walk up the hill from the bustling main street of Hiriketyia. The staff were lovely and the included breakfast was so delicious (endless options to choose from as well!) The Beldon was a little bit of luxury on our trip to Sri Lanka, would definitely recommend it!

Had a great stay here, extended by 3 nights. Place is new and looks as advertised. Its clean (no bathroom sewage smell!), spacious and completely quiet at night. About 2 min walk to the beach and the kitchen with fridge and water refill was great to have too. Wifi was also fast, would stay here again.

The host is amazing They take care of everything for you and you see they have very little but they are some of the most welcoming people I have ever met They give you the clothes off of their back even if they don’t have any to give just to make you feel welcomed Really top notch Super nice people

Most of all we had a great time due to the owners, Randima and Lakmini, they are so accommodating and friendly and really made the whole experience of staying in their home such wonderful one. They are both interesting people who are easy to talk with and gave us an insight into Sri Lankan life, politics, food, fauna and so much more! They told us of local events and parades happening, helped with logistics, and assisted us on so many occasions; they truly went above & beyond. Secondly the balcony is superb - it exceeded our expectations and although the lake is small it is brimming with wildlife and you get a great view of it all from the balcony (which is right outside the room). This was like a wildlife safari all in itself! If you’re into bird spotting, this place is a must 🦜 The room was truly huge, clean, spacious, the bed comfy. It is near enough to the main road for easy access but not noisy at all and you and can’t see the main road, while the walk up the track to the house in the dark is lit by fireflies. There are several shops and a good restaurant on the road, and the bus stop is very close for getting to the nearby towns, villages and beach stops.

We really loved to stay at this place. You have a lot of privacy, a huge space, clean and definitely a comfortable accommodation. The family is living downstairs and they are the cutest people. I can only recommend Blue Point Rest (former name: Golden Beach Resort). The hosts are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious and cozy with a nice balcony or terrace. The breakfast is varied, extensive and very delicious, although personal wishes are also taken into account. It is only a few minutes' walk to beautiful Goyambokka Beach. There are also dining options nearby. I've stayed here several times and I feel right at home there. Thanks to Ushan and his family for the wonderful days.

The place was modern and extremely clean. It was less than 100 steps to the beach. The use of the kitchen facilities including the washing machine was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. One of the best places we have stayed in Sri Lanka....and we've stayed at a lot.

The room was very nice and it has a really lovely little garden that you can sit in and watch the sea and the animals, and fireflies at night, it is very peaceful and relaxing. The family are lovely and made it an unforgettable experience. I loved chatting to them and laughing and they will cook you lovely meals at their restaurant. I was genuinely sad to leave.
