huge range of facilities, the bedrooms were so comfortable and spacious. staff were very accommodating. there’s many activities available to book at the hotel and it’s only a short drive from Funchal. we used bolt to get taxis which were about €13 to Funchal. we also had the hotel book us taxis some times which they were easily able to accommodate. can’t recommend this place enough, we are already planning a return visit.

Excellent options included such as sauna and ocean water pools. Also access to the ocean is easy and fast. Delicious and nutrient breakfast with enough of various dishes. Friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely stay here once again in occasion of visiting Madeira!

This is an excellent hotel. Quiet and private. The staff were amazing, where literally everyone was friendly, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. They each went out of their way to make it a memorable stay. The view from the suite, infinity pool and dining areas is absolutely incredible (and worth the higher price tag). To top it off, the daily all-inclusive breakfast and dining experience at Avista restaurant was fantastic. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This property is an absolute gem. It’s super cozy, spacious and has everything you would need. It’s clean and has space for 1 car to park. There is space to park on the street if you’d need for a second car. Sara is an amazing host, she helped us a lot and was super kind. We really liked the following: the relaxed atmosphere, the very child-friendly staff, the small playground next to the hotel and the activities offered for children, the spacious family room with separate bedroom and kitchen unit and of course the excellent and varied food - especially the dessert (I have rarely eaten such delicious cakes). The property has sooo much potential! Built on the side of the mountain, it offers breathtaking ocean views! The lower pool is unique and beautiful and allows to swim in the ocean when the waves are not too high. The room was spacious, with great view from the balcony and the bathroom was comfortable. The hotel also has a beautiful lounge and restaurant with oceanside sitting.

The access to the bathing zone is a privilege. The panoramic spa, the lounge bar and the restaurant are incredible. We also loved the breakfast and the calmness of the property.
