When I booked the place for just 1 night, I knew I was going to regret it. And I did! The location is wonderful, the place itself is superb. I didn't get to have dinner with them, but I did have breakfast (not included). I think the scrambled eggs were the best I have ever had. Thank you for making this too short stay unforgettable! I couldn't rave more about this property or the attentive hosts Amber and Erik. We only had 4 nights here (family of 5) but all wanted to stay for much longer. The Waterfront Suite were we stayed was warm and so comfortable. The added bonus of the essential food available meant we had food and drink on that first night, after a long trip up and feeling to exhausted to go out. The hosts were so responsive and set us up with the camp fire at short notice and provided us with whatever we needed. And yes, we saw the aurora on our last night. Honestly a beautiful magical place. I highly recommend hiring a car, everything is a short 5/10 minute drive away (we are from Australia and navigated right sided driving just fine as it's still small town vibe).

Great accommodation in a cottage by the lake. Clean, tidy, firewood ready. An extraordinary place. Great staff. Thank you very much. And there is no Wi-Fi or cell phone signal. I take that as a huge advantage. Simply Canadian romance in the woods. I recommend it!
