The house is beautifu and clean. Her dog is also incredibly friendly. We and our dog had a fantastic stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the great recommendations on places to visit – we really enjoyed them as well. She is a truly respectable and inspiring senior who deserves to be treated with the same sincerity and kindness she shows to her guests. Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.
