The host was truly wonderful – very kind, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The house is beautifu and clean. Her dog is also incredibly friendly. We and our dog had a fantastic stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the great recommendations on places to visit – we really enjoyed them as well. She is a truly respectable and inspiring senior who deserves to be treated with the same sincerity and kindness she shows to her guests. We'd love to come back and stay at her warm and welcoming home again.

The location in Beatenburg was ideal for me. Away from the tourist throngs in Interlaken, it was literally a breath of fresh air. The themed rooms boast generous space and lots of features that gave it great value for money. The host Dominic was outstanding. There was nothing too much for him. His service, breakfast of choice and complimentary drinks are all extraordinary. The location of the hotel features some of the most spectacular views of the lake below and the mountains. Simply outstanding.

Best location and great services. What stands out is the availability of services. Everything is thought of. From the parking ticket, the pass for the gondolas, the bus ticket etc…. Everything was excellent. The outdoor spa was a unique experience. The staff at the kids' club were very kind, and everyone in the hotel was extremely helpful. We even received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel also provided a shuttle service to the train station. The town was small but charming, and the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of it.
