It is within easy reach of attractions like Jiefangbei, Hongya Cave, Yangtze River Cableway, and Two Rivers Cruise. First of all, the hotel has a perfect location and offers a great balance between price and quality. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-designed — ideal if you’re traveling with friends but still want some privacy, thanks to the two separate floors in the room layout. But the true gem of this hotel is the staff — especially the owner. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. We honestly felt like we were visiting a distant aunt who was there for us no matter what. A genuinely warm-hearted person, always ready to help with directions, solve any issue, and make sure you feel at home in the city. Yes, it’s listed as a 2-star hotel — probably because it’s small — but I would add two more stars just for the hospitality and care alone. The breakfast was also authentic and really enjoyable! We stayed in several 5-star hotels during our trip around southern China, including Chongqing and Chengdu — and while those were nice, if you’re looking for an authentic, family-style experience full of warmth and human connection, this is the place to go. From the thoughtful recommendations to the personal attention — everything was simply perfect.

super nice room, managed to get a free upgrade through booking.com, it was a corner room, really spacious and lux. instagrammable too. Free of charge choice of pillow from the pillow menu. Staff was super attentive and friendly in helping with taxis, booking tourist attraction tickets etc. Breakfast is really good also, good selection.

It was my first time travelling to Chongqing, and I do not speak any Chinese. The property exceeded my expectations... From spotless rooms, to amazing breakfast and a very convenient location at a walking distance from the city center. Staff try their best to communicate, even though some of them do not speak very good English. Overall, it was the best choice I could do for my stay in Chongqing. At the end of my stay, I left some stuff that I received as gifts from the conference that I attended. They sent me an e-mail if I needed them shipped to my home country. An awesome spot with a Japanese vibe – I truly felt like I had stepped into the world of Kung Fu Panda! Even the Japanese-style toilet was a unique experience. I absolutely loved their cozy little bar, and the location couldn’t be better – right in the center, with everything super easy to reach.
