Staying at the Ritz while visiting Chengdu was probably the best hotel decision we could have taken. It is well known that this hotel has impeccable service, great locations and offers a luxury experience and we were not disappointed. All the staff member spoke very good English. We were very nicely greeted and the staff was very friendly, open and talkative. The breakfast has a big variety of western and chinese cuisine. The Ritz is right at the center of Chengdu which made getting to different places easy. The room was spacious and very comfortable even for three people in one room. After we checked out we found out our flight was canceled and one staff member sat down with us and helped us sort everything out. As non Chinese speakers we relied on help and she called the airline for us and explained to us, what has happened. We would definitely recommend this hotel! A special thanks to Ankita, Kiki and TT who made our stay in Chengdu even more memorable.

Qingcheng hegu haven was a solid choice. The host’s food recommendations were spot-on, and the Chinese-style design feels elegant yet cozy. Mosquito repellent is a must here (it’s by the hills!), but after hiking temple trails, the hot springs made it all worthwhile.

Poetlake hotel-LuguLake Lijiang has free bikes, garden, a private beach area and shared lounge in Zuosuo. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a terrace, as well as a sauna and a hot tub.

The hotel is very close to Lugu Lake, and the scenery is very beautiful. The hotel staff helped me borrow a bicycle so that I could go around the lake and see the beautiful scenery.

Hotel is very pretty, as advertised! Location is also really good, near by car to tourist locations. Staff are also friendly. We love the free laundry service, and they also provide steamer. Value for money and Instagram-worthy for a stay in Chengdu. Tip: further down the street is University street with cute cafes!
