Very family welcoming with games all over the place is a nice touch. Lovely spaces and fabulous pool. The second pool is also a great place to play wilder games with the kids. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Tina, Brian, Cathleen and Geoff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast is lovely, dinner expensive but good quality. In all a fabulous lace we would return to.

Great place with amazing view, lovely interior design and very spacious to host four people and have a relaxing couple of days. Welcome amenities included and who doesn’t love a drink in the jacuzzi with a Mountain View? The kids (7,8) loved to watch birds/pizotes, play some games and enjoy some of the activities nearby.

Little Escape está a 7 min a pie de Playa Carmen y ofrece piscina al aire libre y jardín, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. Hermosas instalaciones muy modernas , todo funcionaba bien. tenía todo lo necesario. Mike fue muy atento y cordial me ayudó con todas las preguntas que le hice. Está muy bien ubicado cerca de todo. Tienen un jardín hermoso.

Embassy House, que está en Puerto Jiménez, ofrece alojamiento con piscina privada, vistas al jardín y patio. Embassy house is a very unique place! The host Rafael is extraordinarily kind and helpful. He has a dog named Fidel and a "fat", orange cat named Trump. Both are very cute! The house is full of books, chessboards and other cultural assets, which formed a base for intriguing conversations. The house is located at the very edge of the village. It has a beatiful garden with a terrace on which we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Overall the place has -in the most positive way- a certain "movie-like" feel to it. My girlfriend and I, having planned to go directly from San José to Corcovado national park by bus, our stay in Puerto Jimenez was originally a necessary measure, since there was no connecting bus at the same day we arrived. We ended up enjoying every minute of our stay and Rafael even provided some information about the animal species to be observed in the national park. Overall, I can totally recommend staying at Embassy House and would love to come back any time soon!

Uvita Paradise está a 2,9 km de Playa Uvita y ofrece piscina al aire libre y jardín, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, patio y wifi gratis. We stayed here for four nights, in mid-March, and everything about this property and our stay, exceeded expectations. (This was my fifth time in Costa Rica and this was the nicest property I have ever stayed in.) We intentionally headed further south than previous visits, seeking a quieter, less-frequented village. We also wanted to explore Playa Ballena, which ended up being a 10 minute walk away from Uvita Paradise. When we arrived, we were personally greeted by the manager, Casey, who provided us with a tour of our apartment and the amenities. (There is secure parking, as the property is behind a large gate.) She answered every one of our questions, was easily accessible via whatsapp (after hours) and, along with the housekeepers (who did our laundry for free!!) made us feel like we were staying in a boutique hotel. The property is stunning! Pictures don't do it justice. It really is "Paradise". We stayed in one of the bottom floor apartments, with our two children. It was big enough for all four of us and the king-sized bed was, by far, the most comfortable bed we slept in during our weeks-long adventure in Costa Rica. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater, but there were several restaurants just a walk away, that we frequented daily. (We highly recommend Que Tuanis Cafe!) We enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces, accessible all day and into the evening. There were other guests staying there, but there was plenty of space. The kids also enjoyed the playground, just two minutes away (walking). We met kind locals and felt like we were living "pura vida" in every way. If you are looking for a piece of paradise, with easy access to the nearby - gorgeous - beaches, we highly recommend Uvita Paradise. We will absolutely return!
